Choosing a therapist is personal.

We believe the relationship is just as important as the techniques we use. Every member of Lunghi Counseling Group is committed to creating a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward with clarity, confidence, and resilience.

Founder and Clinical Director

Children, Teens, Adults & Family Transitions

Leina Lunghi is the founder of Lunghi Counseling Group and helps children, adults, and families navigate seasons of change, stress, and transition.

With over 18 years of experience in counseling, education, advocacy, and family work, Leina brings particular expertise in divorce, adoption, military-connected transitions, school changes, career shifts, and other new chapters. Her professional background includes individual and group therapy, school counseling, parent education and collaboration, work with military-connected children and families, and years with adoptive families, foster care networks, and home study journeys.

Across her career, Leina’s work has centered on helping people feel steady and seen during vulnerable and high-stress seasons. She works closely with children, adults, and families navigating changes in family structure, adoption and foster care experiences, military life, school transitions, trauma, stress, loss of stability, and relational change. These experiences have shaped her practical, grounded approach and deepened her understanding of trauma, attachment, child development, emotional regulation, family transitions, and nervous-system awareness.

Warm and relational, Leina blends evidence-based strategies with a strong belief in connection, clarity, and hope. She helps clients make sense of what they are experiencing, build on their strengths, and move forward with clarity, confidence, and resilience.
