A Little Bracelet. A Big Moment of Magic.
Lunghi Counseling Group is bringing our community together to create 50 handmade friendship bracelets for children facing serious illness through A Moment of Magic.
Each bracelet is a small reminder that a child is supported, celebrated, and never alone.
Help Us Reach Our Goal
Children, families, classrooms, Girl Scout troops, neighbors, and community groups are all invited to participate. Make one bracelet—or gather your favorite people and make several!
Our goal is to collect 50 bracelets by September 30.

Why This Project Matters
We launched this project on September 11 as a way to turn remembrance into kindness and service.
On September 11, 2001, LCG Founder and Clinical Director Leina Lunghi was serving in the U.S. Navy and steaming toward the Persian Gulf on her first WESTPAC deployment. She remembers the fear and sadness of that day—as well as the extraordinary sense of connection, service, and care for one another that followed.
This project honors that spirit by giving our community a simple way to bring encouragement and joy to children navigating incredibly difficult circumstances.
About A Moment of Magic
A Moment of Magic supports children and families facing serious illness through play, creativity, mental health education, and meaningful moments of connection.
Every bracelet carries a message: You matter. We are cheering for you. You are not alone.
